As part of a group of military band tracks I’m working to restore of 7” tapes, the US Naval Academy’s Next Wave big band was one of the first I finished. Listen below to several of the tunes from this tape, recorded live at an unknown venue in the late 1960s. Featured soloists include Barry Weinstein, Denny Davis, and several others (called out by the emcee as appropriate).
